Alpha Terminal is a VPet Data Extraction Utility Application. Using an AlphaCom (or compatible VPet Interface), connect your VPet device and scan the data within, or send data to your device to battle, jogress, copy, or trade! Available on Android, Windows, Linux, and MacOS, Alpha Terminal uses DigiROMs to connect you with other VPet users around the world. After obtaining a DigiROM from your VPet, share it with your friends so they can send it to their device.
DigiROMs are text representations of the data that is directly transmitted between devices during a VPet communication. Though there is variation between device types, these codes typically contain data for which Digimon, its power level, the course of the battle, and the victor.
Conventional DigiROMs display data in an unprotected format where anyone has the ability to manipulate the data. Non-encrypted DigiROMs can be edited and easily abused, making cheating a serious threat to tournaments and competitions.
Alpha Terminal uses an encryption system that masks the data to prevent cheating while retaining all of the data in the DigiROM. Users can still copy, paste, and share codes without the threat of others abusing the DigiROM system. It is encouraged that you only give and accept encrypted DigiROM codes to ensure the community is free of cheating.
